ABOUT ME

I am an open minded person who enjoys meeting people from all walks of life. I am extremely concerned about the environment and try to do my part to making the planet a better place. I like to drink red wine - plenty of opportunity for that here in wine country - and drink good micro-brewed beer. I am fortunate to live in an active tourist destination so I am happy to share that with others!

I believe in the power of positive thinking - and that we manifest our own destiny by believing in ourselves and each other. If you need something - put it out to the universe and it will happen!

I am single with 1 cat, very busy with work but I want to travel more and I enjoy meeting new people!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although this is my first time here - I've been couch surfing with friends off and on my whole life. It is always great to see old friends and meet new ones.

Interests

Traveling! Hiking, Biking, Kayaking, tidepooling, (I am 45 minutes from the ocean) animals, drinking good wine and beer, 4-20 occasionally, surfing the web, watching movies, (have tv but don't subscribe to cable) dancing to live music, - and lots more!

Music, Movies, and Books

Just saw Michael Franti and India.Arie at Harmony Festival - always good! I like Sarah McLaughlin, Sarah Brightman - pretty much love all music from hip hop to opera - not so keen on twangy country music or hard rap or hard rock - but open to listen to it before I judge.
I read a lot - mostly fiction murder mysteries to love stories - but also have signed copes of books by Amy Goodman, John Perkins, Greg Palast, Robert F Kennedy Jr. Movies - vary greatly - I try not to watch anything too violent as I don't like having those images in my mind - I like independent films a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favorite experience was camping on an island on a river in Olympia National Park in Washington and watching the Northern Lights!
