The fundamental essence of who I am is a thinker and a feeler. I am somewhat of an "unconventionalist," as I spend a lot of time thinking outside the box, and am constantly tweaking my lifestyle into an unconventional design.

I kinda like to think of myself as an ancient and primal warrior (but I know in reality I'm far from it, haha)...

More specifically, I am an artist. I create music, playing roles on both sides of the microphone (producer and/or musician). I also practice martial arts, and the art of movement.

I like to be involved in or otherwise appreciate art, and I like to think that I have a competency in the place where art and science overlap, such as with computer programming, and recording technology.

Throughout my career as a producer and recording engineer, I have been fortunate enough to get to work with some really incredible artists and musicians, and be a part of making some critically acclaimed albums. I'm very proud and grateful to have had the fortune to do this work.

I also spent a few years as a manager/road manager for an indie rock band. During this time we toured the country a few times, playing in all the major US cities. Sometimes we got to open for some well-known bands with an audience of thousands. Most the time, though, we played more humble shows to a few hundred. But we had fun ALL the time.

I like to push at the status quo, and try not to buy into certain ways of thinking just because, "that's the way it's always been."

Some other specifics:

I'm a "radical eater" - I eat things like raw meat and fermented vegetables.

I put butter in my coffee - Bulletproof Coffee, you should try it if you have not already!

I often times sleep on the floor - even though I have a really nice bed.

I take freezing cold showers and walk barefoot in the snow.

I admit, while all this sounds a little kooky, trust me... there's definitely a method to the madness! I could go on, but I've probably already made this section a bit too long.

The last decade of my life I focused on building my career. This decade of my life I am focusing on thriving. To me, one of the main components of thriving is traveling and connecting with people.

In the past I have neglected opportunities to have these types of unique and rich experiences with people, but now I am very much committed to changing this.

Traveling in the "conventional" sense is a terrible missed opportunity. I want to see the world while connecting with people and sharing rich experiences with them. I want to do my part to help other people thrive by providing rich and personal traveling experiences that you miss when staying at a hotel.

It's all about the journey. I want to celebrate the journey with my fellow sojourners through real human connection.
