About Me
QUOTES THAT DEFINE US
If a problem is fixable, if a situation is such that you can do something about it, then there is no need to worry. If it's not fixable, then there is no help in worrying. There is no benefit in worrying whatsoever. - Dalai Lama XIV
The future depends on what you do today - Mahatma Gandhi
Not all those who wander are lost. - JRR Tolkien
Money can buy you a house, but it cannot buy you a home. - The Internet
CURRENT MISSION
exploring the world and telling my kids (when I get them) about it! We have backpacked around South East Asia for 4 months and are now based in the UK. We plan to explore Europe whenever we get the chance.
ABOUT US
We (Ayumi & I) normally live in Melbourne, Australia but now am living in Leamington, UK after completing a 4 month backpacking trip. We are friendly, very easy going, love giving new stuff a go.
While in Melbourne, Australia we can support you by providing quiet accommodation, teach you useful stuff about Melbourne, introducing our amazing friends, etc.
If you're a music lover, and play either the guitar or electric bass; I would love to learn more from you. I am only a beginner though!
If you love baking cakes, breads or sweets, Ayumi is a professional patissier who is more than happy to teach you something new and more than happy for you to show your skill.
I love to share ideas with people:
For us, interaction with people is definitely one of the ways to enjoy life, and it also helps you to understand who you really are!
We love to travel: We are now on our first around the world trip. And would love to get hosted by people that want to share their way of life.
My work that pays the bills:
Jon works for Jaguar Land Rover as an engineer. Ayumi is a patissier and works whenever there is a need; even when she is travelling. She is also a great Japanese chef, that is always ready to teach and to demonstrate.
