ABOUT ME

Notice: I don't know what is going on right now with CS, but I get way too many requests, especially from students waiting or looking for an apartment for their future studies. My place is not a free hotel and I will not accept requests for 1, 2 or 3 weeks or whichever other absurd requests. CS was not designed for that. So from now on I won't answer anymore such requests. Moreover, I'm hosting a lot or I'm myself away until November 7th.
PS: being forced to book a youth hostel because you couldn't find anyone on CS is not an emergency justifying to bother everyone around.

Now back to my profile:

It's hard to tell what you need to know.. I always wear a hat !!
well.. in addition to that,
I like meeting people in all places, I like to go out and share drinks. I love food. I like gigs, jam sessions and such. Even though I claim rock n roll as my first influence, I like weirdos like those around the Gaslamp Killer productions, and mostly live electronic music (Moderat, Modeselektor, Teebs, Thom Yorke, Trentemøller...). In addition to that I teamed up with a friend and started VJing for my favorite local band No Plan From Outer Space (google it) as well as as for local Drum n Bass events. Besides all this, I collect model robots and toys of all kinds and my place looks like a museum. And last but not least, I like to build things.. I started with Lego and now I create and design most of my furniture and I'm always modifying something on my motorbike. My next project is an old Yamaha that I will turn into a Café Racer.
Well, I hope it helps you picture my lifestyle.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, since I travel a lot, I am almost never home and always visiting. So usually my place is for rent for a week or more but since I'm a student, I need the money to pay the rent, even when I'm not home. But if nobody answers your desperate calls in Lausanne, feel free to write.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most of them were very interesting. And mostly when I did not expect much from them! Thank you for this!
However, there are way too many people asking for a couch, using the couch and just leaving, with me barely knowing their name.
I know Switzerland is an expensive country, but if you come with nothing to give (no I don't mean sth material), not even sharing food, you can go f... yourself.

I am going to be a high school teacher soon, so teaching is what I like..
Linguistics, sociolinguistics, cognitive linguistics and such are my favorite fields but I am also preparing a Master Thesis in Vietnam War literature if interested.
