About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet all types of people across the U.S.
ABOUT ME
My friends would say that I am a fun-loving guy that likes to explore the world around me. I'm pretty neat, not often loud, I enjoy playing drinking games, and I always try to pack as light as possible (sometimes too lightly). Whenever I visit someplace new I am always torn between doing things completely off the beaten path and the top tourist attractions.

PHILOSOPHY
Compassion rules all.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Moving across the US this summer so I don't have a couch to offer just yet, but I certainly will this Fall.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
New to couch surfing but I'm excited to start and hopefully meet some new friends.
Interests
Things that really grab my attention are people that go out of their way to make someone else's day easier or brighter. It could be as simple as holding the door open for someone or engaging someone in a conversation who might otherwise keep to themself. I enjoy being active and playing sports, as well as spending a lot of time reading books. I really get along well with people who are nothing like me, as I enjoy trying to learn about what makes them tick.

Music, Movies, and Books
As for movies, really dumb comedies and really thought-provoking cerebral documentaries. Not much in between.
Also...Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Standing on the top of Upper Yosemite Falls looking down at the valley below and all of the water falls, realizing I have spent 3 agonizing hours trekking up that mountain in the extreme heat, but in the end it was worth it.
Going dogsledding outside of Montreal and staying at an ice hotel. I may never do something as cool as lead a team of dogs on a wilderness trail run in the middle of Quebec ever again.
Seeing the Milky Way for the first time on a clear night while camping in Northern California. I had only seen one or two shooting stars in my life up until that point, and on that night I must have seen well over a dozen. Absolutely amazing to gain a little perspective on our place in the universe.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to juggle 3 similarly sized objects and I'm sure I could teach you how to do it too!!
