I am Korea. I am 24 years old and I can speak English in addition to my native language Korean. Be not fluent there is no problem with simple communication. I'm studying Political Science and Economics in Hankuk University of Foreign Studies(HUFS) and now also trying to learn Chinese . I had done tour volunteering for 3 years to foreign students who came Korea first time. I have done my military services for 2 years at the Republic Of Korea Air Force.
I did internship in Oman for 6months in KOTRA(Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency). I like traveling. But the thing I most love is hanging out with ppl and experiencing local life.
Now I'm planning to travel the world before I graduate university. I want to broaden my view through experiencing various cultures and go to different places and meet new ppl. Also I'm doing my youtube channel 'Joonfinder'.

*PS. Actually I'm not good at drinking, but I can be the best partner for talking and exchanging cultural stuffs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The thing I want to do most is to see the lives of the ppl of each country I go. I want to go to the house where the ppl live, and I think it is important to communicate with the locals, not with tourists. For this reason, I'm planning to meet hosts through this platform(couch surfing) and make precious, meaningful memories together.

Interests

I'm not good at group sports(e.g football, basketball. etc.) but I love to do swimming, bawling, tennis. Thesedays I'm making my own youtube videos. I'm trying to show how I enjoy the trip with local people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my internship training in Oman, I made lots of true friends in there. After finishing internship, one of my Omani friend came to my country and we traveled in Korea for 10days. Introducing my culture was really good experience for me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like taking pictures as much as traveling. Also I would like to take a walk in the neighborhood around my host's home and try some of the usual stores, places, and activities that my host often visits. If you r interested in Korean language, I can teach some basic communication skills. I'll also tell about Korean traditional manners and culture.
