About Me
Hey there! Call me Joong and I am from Vietnam...
I'm 30, love to travel but work and life get me busy most of the time.
I share my apartment with a colleague, so its quite hard to host so I cannot accept guests though I wish to do so.
Generally I avoid crowded groups, traffic or bustling cities, because I was born and raised in a beautiful but calm town named Nhatrang. I love observing and asking what people are doing, engaging myself with them. It's great being part of daily life at where I am.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I used to travel with my close buddy but he likes fancy, well-lit, clean and dazzling urban cities (with local tour operators), so I would love to explore the rest of the world on my own feet! And actually we don't travel together anymore.
Being alone during the trip would not terrify me, but then, it's more fun to see how local friends and family doing their daily tasks, or talking with them about cultures, travel, or scrubbing cats (I love cats)!
Interests
My hobbies are riding bicycles to rural places where loads of grass, herbs; tress and hills; doing yoga and read novels. I have much imagination, and crazy ideas, as long as you know what I am talking about (yeah jokes fail sometimes, but they do not hurt much)!
Oh yeah I love volleyball. I almost played every day (when at hometown). Just can't get enough of that game, and great same old friends to play with!

Classical music (Schumann, Bach, Vivaldi, Schubert, Bond group) ; covered pop songs (Glee, Susan Wong);
Books: fictions for kids and classics
Movies: I rarely watch TV or go to cinema, so hardly name one!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Volunteering: being part of Operation Smile from 2009 to help heal children's cleft lips/palates.
- Tried to create some bodycare products: mixing good ingredients together and ta-da, put in on your own body and share it with friends who dared!
- Raising cats!! Cats are my kings
