About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To recognise and appreciate contentment and to try to find new music wherever I can

ABOUT ME

My home is 2 minutes from the sea where there are beautiful views across the bay to the mountains of the Lake District. We have spectacular sunsets!
I have recently completed renovations on the house and now I reap the reward of enjoying the space. This year I am enthusiastically growing vegetables.

I have returned to working in science now but previously I have studied and taught Art while having a creative business

I have a 23 year old daughter who is studying physics and lives away from home now

PHILOSOPHY

What you give out you get back

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Knowing that I find foreign places challenging, this is an opportunity for myself and others to be mutually supportive.
I would love to be able to feel as comfortable and confident travelling around the world as I do travelling around Britain. Perhaps I could hope that participating here would contribute to that aim!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch surfing so far has been with friends and family living in Europe or N. America (Seattle, Carolina Pittsburg, Vancouver).

Interests

Very interested in the Arts.
I take in as much live music as possible, preferably in small venues rather than the large stadium type of events
