About Me
Hola hola! I'm Julia from Austria but I guess my soul's at home in Latin America. I lived in Peru for one year when I was 15, lived in Holland for another year at 18 and have kept travelling ever since. Between that I studied a couple of things and finished barely any ;) I worked as a social worker for 6 years and additionally did many other projects in the social and creative sector (founded a DJane-collective, wrote articles for magazines, co-directed a documentary, volunteered in refugee camps,...). I guess it's super important to me to keep my live as colorful and varied as possible. An important part of that are the many interesting and lovely acquaintances and friendships all over the world which have enriched my life. I love cultural and personal exchange and am supergrateful for the possibilties couchsurfing contributes to that.
