Overview
About Me
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose."
(Dr Seuss)
I`ve lived in the US (CA, NV and WA), Belgium and The Netherlands.
In 2015 I moved back to Brasil to finish Law School and took my dutch travel partner in crime (previously boyfriend now husband) with me. We had a great time in the concrete jungle called São Paulo, however, as soon as I finished my Uni he got transferred to Germany. We took a month off to travel around Peru and Bolívia before our move and have just arrived in Frankfurt - luckily Spring just sprong :) . l look forward to meeting some nice people and exploring the city and its surroundings!
I love the outdoors. Hiking, cycling, jogging, swimming or just laying on the beach... I'm up to almost everything!
When I'm traveling I like to have a plan A, B, C, D, E, F, G... which means I don't make too many plans, only the basic ones. I like to travel free and be surprised by good unexpected things. Im pretty laid back and I go with the flow.
I can't live without music and something to read, I often quote songs and read labels.
I'm always up to grab a beer, glass of wine, cup of coffee, tea, ice cream... whatever, laughing must come in the package :-)
PHILOSOPHY
"If something is worth doing, then it's worth doing well."
"what goes around comes around" (karma is a bitch!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing since 2011.
I've been hosted by some fantastic people while travelling and I have also met some other fellow travellers.
After a few years on the road, I'm back to my native country and I'm willing to help out travellers as much as I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
"How cool was Will Freeman? This cool:
he had slept with a woman he didn't know very well in the last three months (five points).
He hadn't spent more than three hundred pounds on a jacket (five points).
He had spent more than twenty pounds on a haircut (five points) (How was it possible to spend less than twenty pounds on a haircut in 1993?).
He owned more than five hip-hop albums (five points).
He had taken Ecstasy (five points), but in a club and not merely at home as a sociological exercise (five bonus points).
He intended to vote Labour at the next general election (five points).
He earned more than forty thousand pounds a year (five points), and he didn't have to work very hard for it (five points, and he awarded himself an extra five points for not having to work at all for it).
He had eaten in a restaurant that served polenta and shaved parmesan (five points).
He had never used a flavored condom (five points),
he had sold his Bruce Springsteen albums (five points), and he had both grown a goatee (five points) and shaved it off again (five points).
The bad news was that he hadn't ever had sex with someone whose photo had appeared on the style page of a newspaper or magazine (minus two), and he did still think, if he was honest (and if Will had anything approaching an ethical belief, it was that lying about yourself in questionnaires was utterly wrong), that owning a fast car was likely to impress women. Even so, that gave him...sixty-six!
He was, according to the questionnaire, sub-zero! He was dry ice! He was Frosty the Snowman! He would die of hypothermia!"
(quote from About a Boy - Nick Hornby)
Being serious, I'm doing/ seeing amazing things in a daily basis routine and so do you. Sometimes we miss the chance to notice it.
I've been to so many amazing places, I've met so many amazing people, I've done and seen so many amazing things... To be continued.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've had a lot of fun learning/ teaching languages (my French and Hispanic friends can tell). I learned how to say "cheers" in a bunch of languages!
If you are going to California, Nevada, Hawaii, Washington (state), Belgium or Brasil I can share with you some tips that are going to make your trip even better.
There are thousand things I wanna learn like surfing, playing the guitar, reading a map properly...
I believe there is always something interesting to share when we talk about people.
