Started as lorry mechanic, later BMW cars. From 1980 till 2002 I owned a biscuit factory which I have sold. In the nineties I owned a sign company too. After I sold the biscuit factory I traveled a lot and now I live in Friesland, a beautiful part of the Netherlands.
I also did a lot of voluntary work with student companies in the Netherlands. Have been in several boards, for company owners, regional board for Young entrepreneurs, Member and senator for JCI. Done many projects for the national and local JCI organization.

Early 2020 I started a B and B in Marrum.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a host for travelers and meeting new people.
I am working on a cheap room for shoestring travelers. It will be ready end 2020.

Drove on a moped to Austria when i was 16. Without knowing where to go. ;)
