I quit my job in IT and started travelling the world together with my girlfriend Jasmin. Now I’m hitchhiking from the Netherlands to China, and travel further south from there.

On the flat roads of the Netherlands I love to cycle and often take out my racingbike for long rides. In the high mountains outside of the Netherlands I love to hike to the highest and most beautiful spots. After the hard work I like to drink all sorts of craft beer and different types of wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Getting to know people from different countries and their way of looking at life and living it. Everybody knows something you don’t, and by exchanging experiences you enrich yourself. I speak several languages and am always looking to learn new ones because they make it easier to understand eachother.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ate delicious pancakes, cycled to London and back, travelled from Mexico to Bolivia without flying. I hitchhiked 13000km from the Netherlands to Vladivostok.
