About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a very easy going man, enjoying life. My 2 sons live here 4 days a week, the other part they are at their mom.
Musician is my profession. I play tuba and trombone and I am a concuctor. During the week and often in the weekends I am playing, conducting and teaching as a self employed. For my work I travelled all over the world with different kind of performances with several bands/orchestras.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing and hosting via CS is my goal. I travelled alot around the world, most of the time for my work. I found out that the best way to learn about the country is getting known people from this country, and CS is an excellent way to get these people known.

Interests

I love cooking, sports (running and gym) and I love to do any kind of things outdoors. My working times are mostly in the evenings and in the weekends, that's why I can do these things during the week on day. I'm very blessed with that!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very bright interested. Never can think of my favourites, as I'm affraid that others options will not be valued enough...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing trips I made was the one to New Zealand, where I used to play at a military show in Rotorua. Just the fact that I was at the other side of the world and walking around in my shorts in February was an amazing experience for me.
Another thing I won't forget was my visit to South Africa. Some friends invited me for a 'braai' (South African BBQ) at a military base. While all my collegues were acting as a tourist in Cape Town I had the experience to spend great time with the locals. Is there a better way to learn about a country?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can do whatever is needed. Cooking, catching up, have a chat, show you around, etc.
