About Me
Hey, there!
So here's an introduction to who I am:
In the past 24 years,I like to think thatI have been collecting abbreviations in order to find something about myself. AIESECer, TEDxer, INFP, 9w1, API, UBD, CCPE, PY, CMJ and student at FURB and HWR are the most important, to name a few. Some belong to my personal life, some are work-related — but they're all good conversation starters. Feel free to ask me about them!
I'm also a postcard lover, self-proclaimed avid traveller (in spite of not having much of a sense of direction), and proud Brazilian. In my free time I play the piano, write, do a lot of volunteering and daydream whenever I get the chance. I aspire of living in a more meaningful world — where people can express themselves, be free, balanced and have purpuseful lives. (And where the German language is more appreciated as well, hopefully.)
I also travel as much as I can, and my favorite thing to do is connecting with people from elsewhere... which is why I'm on Couchsurfing. If you're looking for a place to stay or have a spare couch, I hope we can get to know soon ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had good experiences travelling and doing classic touristic stuff, but nothing compares to the times I had the opportunity to stay in a local's home and hang out with him while I was visiting his city and himself. And looking the other way around, it was also awesome to show my city to people who had never been here before and give them a glimpse and taste of my favourite things.
That's the kind of thing I want to give to people who come here, and I'd love to have the chance of living this again.
Interests
I'm interested in learning new languages and practicing the ones I know a bit: Portuguese, English, Spanish and German. I also enjoy playing the piano, hearing good life stories and getting lost in new cities. I'm very fond of going to new places and I've been abroad a few times.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love the Arcade Fire, The Beatles, Philipp Poisel, A Tribe Called Quest, Dave Brubeck and a lot of Brazilian music. I'm also a big fan of American literature, and I like movies by Aronofsky, Tarantino and Cuarón :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm currently living that — this year I'll be representing Paraguay as a non-profit country manager, and it's been an amazing experience. From the warm and fun Paraguayans to the Guarani language and omnipresent cumbia, I cannot wait to start this experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm not much of a cook, though I love to listen to new stories and I'd be really happy if I could pay my hosts a pizza and some beers as retribution for the couch! And if they like music, I usually carry around my ukulele and harmonica :)
