About Me

Please note that Couchsurfing IS NOT a place where you get free accommodation when you travel. This is a place where you get the opportunity to stay with the locals or hang out with the locals to find out more about the cultures. If you are requesting solely for the sake of getting a free accommodation, rest assure that the answer will always be a NO. Please respect the Couchsurfering's culture of meeting people for a cultural exchange.

YOLO, is what I live by.

I have no fear in trying out new things that may be out of my comfort zone.

My friends think that I'm really entertaining because of my comical actions. My family thinks I'm crazy because of my comical actions.

I'm just trying to live each day like it is my last.

I can never learn and see enough things & I can never want to learn and see enough.

I am not picky with the food I eat or the place I stay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to make more friends and to learn more about different cultures (greatly inspired by my intercultural communications module in college). Also, I want to experience my time in a foreign land as a local rather than a tourist. The "do as the Romans do" kind of trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bought a coach ticket to Hatyai, Thailand (13hours ride) and leave the very same day just because I've got nothing to do. Even though a last minute trip, it was a fruitful one. I learnt so much more about the country and its culture just by following the locals around. I even picked up simple Thai from the people I met on the coach and on the train to Bangkok. A trip that taught me how to be independent, and how to "blend in" to the locals.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can whip up some asian food! And I will definitely bring hosts around Singapore if you were to visit!^^ and of course, teaching you a few singlish (yes!! Singaporeans ways of speaking) terms and stuffs!

China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Netherlands, Philippines, Thailand, United States
