About Me
I am from Germany and I've just finished school. I took a gap year before college and came to the US as kind of a full time volunteer. So I have the pleasure to help homeless people in Philadelphia.
Unfortunately I can't host right now, since my roommates don't want to have strangers in our house. I am sorry.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
That's pretty easy. Travelling is fun, but it's much more fun, if you can meet new people. It's always cool to see, how other people live and there is no better way than just staying with them. Apart from the tips locals can give you it's also about sharing experiences and getting an idea of so many different cultures and individual life styles. It's just awesome!
Besides it's much cheaper and easier than staying at a hotel. And to be honest as a volunteer I don't get a lot of money :)
Interests
I love to try new things. You almost never know how something is, if you haven't tried it. So I am ready to explore the world.
But I also keep on doing some things. Music and sports are a huge part of my life! I play the piano, sing in a choir, I played the trumpet and I just started to learn playing the guitar. I like almost every team sport, but my favorite one is still basketball!
Of course I totally like to hang out with friends (or people I just met). And I'm pretty open to everything, but just sitting together and maybe eating something (I love food) is fine as well.
Talking, laughing, having fun! That's what life should be about for everyone!
