My name is Joran. I am a 25 year old guy from the small but lovely Belgium.

- Travelling without a plan
- Seeing people being really passionate about something
- Being in charge of the AUX-cord
- A good music festival, shared with friends
- An intense Halo 3 game on Xbox 360
- Dancing around the house with some good tunes

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm a solo-traveller who would like to see places through the eyes of locals (what you like, what you eat, how you view their country or area). I would simply like to broaden my horizon and meet some great people along the way! :)

When I have settled down in my own place I would like to give back to the CS-community and open up my home. I would love to show travellers around and let people try some typical Belgian dishes and snacks. "French" fries? We take them to another level.

I love travel, trying local foods and immersing myself in the culture of a place.

Music is very important to me and I like sharing with other people and learning what music they listen to! I'm especially into Hip-Hop and electronic music and enjoy going to festivals and parties to share with likeminded people. Relaxing on the couch with a good movie and some lovely Doritos is just as wonderful to me.

MUSIC

I have a wide range of music that I enjoy but mostly it's Hip-Hop and electronic music (Techno & House). I also love some good old funk/soul/disco records from artists like Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind & Fire. Indie rock can definitely satisfy me too. I'm always happy to learn more!

MOVIES

The last movie I saw that blew my mind was 'Interstellar'. Hopefully you've seen it too so we can talk about how awesome it is.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Spent the night on a deserted island in the Philippines with friends. We drank beers and rum in the ocean under the night sky while snorkelling in the dark with fluorescent plankton! Such a wonderful experience.

I can share Belgian culture and gladly talk about my studies within communications and human behaviour. Interacting through music is also something I truly enjoy.
