We are Joran & Catuja, a bikepacking/backpacking duo. A year ago we left our home in Belgium for year long trip where we backpacked the GR5, and then biked from Nice to Alicante. After our trip we came back to Belgium to work on our music career full-time and explore our own country.

In short we are foodlovingly vegetarian, enjoy nature and share a passion for music. We dream of a sustainable and autonomous way of living, with people we love in a place that brings us joy.

Teach, Learn, Share

We love developing and sharing language skills. Currently interested in learning Spanish. Able to teach English, French and Dutch.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are musicians (guitar, singing). We love to cook, and have experience in vegetarian and vegan cuisine. We've equipped our bikes with DIY gear, and enjoy crafting things by hand. We have some experience in gardening and have helped with building a dry stone wall. Through traveling we acquired knowledge concerning wildcamping, cooking on fire, working with rope (knots), tarp set up, bike maintenance and reparation, and the overall ins and outs of walking and biking various terrains. Catuja has worked on a ranch and has feeling for horses. Growing up around dogs and cats, she has a way with them. Was part of a bookclub where she guided group activities with children and teenagers.Growing up homeschooled she learned all about self development and creating a balanced environment for children. After finishing from a latin&science school Joran started on a 1yr solo trip through France and Spain to come back and start an education as geography and math teacher. He has an interest in Philosophy, economy, climate science, and has a practical feeling for fixing, building, etc.
