ABOUT ME

I grew up in the hinterlands between West Virginia and Pennsylvania. The son of a coal miner - after graduating college and teaching for a few years - moved to Chicago looking for adventure. I have lived in this great city for the past 7 years - and while I enjoy it - I am getting ready to start a new adventure in Shanghai. I will be teaching - that is the only thing I am qualified to do - but experiencing the Chinese culture and learning a ton.
