Hi everybody!

My name is Jorge, I'm from Spain (Canary islands). I love traveling and meeting new people from all over the world and with couchsurfing I discovered cities in a way I had never done before.

my architectural degree gave me an endless curiosity about the world, the cities and their people. I love to learn about the way a city works and how people live them. I think sharing a city with their inhabitants is the best way to understand it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had this great experience traveling around Morocco with a member of the community and I realized that this was a great way to discover anywhere. I met fantastic people who showed me a different morocco. deeper and very very real.

I'd like to have this experience any time I travel and give it to travelers in my city.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of kind of music. Among my favorite I'd count, jazz, blues (with a special place in my heart to Joe Bonamassa), classic rock, alternative or indie. WHATEVER!.
I love the books that touch me with a sense of freedom. My favorite book is on the road - Jack kerouak.
About films, I have a regular taste with a light turn to independent films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

crossing Morocco in a fruit-delivery truck, trying to reach a surf spot in Imsouane.
I really did it. And it was amazing!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about surfing, photography and of course about Gran Canaria. And i'm interested in learning just about the cities I visit with nice people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

At least by now I can only share my companionship since I live in my family house. But I have many places to show around Gran Canaria and I'd love sharing with people and take'em away from the touristic guiders.
