ABOUT ME
I always been and I'll always be a backpacker wherever I am, whatever I do. Backpacking is not just only travelling with a backback on your back. It's also, I truely think it is, a "philosphy" which could be summurize in few words : friendships, smile, love, culture, people. No need to travel to endorse those assets. You just need to open your eyes and your heart to things you don't really know, and smiling. Always smiling. A smile against the world...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I slept 3 nights in a great french man, in Belfast. It was one of the greatest experience in my all backpacker's life.
I also had the chance to slep two night not far from Krakow, poland. Those two expériences helped me to understand what's really matter in this life, in this world : sharing, opening its doors, building, even for few hours, a great and indestructible friendship. That's humanity. That's where real life is.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I won't never forget the day when I met the King of Swaziland. I was travelling alone, even if, you probably know that already, when you'are travelling by yourslef, you won't never be really alone. I met this guys, a Serbian guy, in a hostel back to Durban, South Africa. We were travelling on the same direction and he kindly proposed me to join him in his car.
After 12 hours of driving, we finnally reached our final destination, in a nice and sweet hostel. We Grabbed a beer. We were probably exhasted cause of the journey, that's probably why we had this crazy taught : "let's meet this guy!". "Who?" "this guy on the bills !"..... "but it's the King man !" .... "And so what?"
The next mroning we were ready to meet this King. We moved from a police station to another one, from a ministery to another, and we finally arrived at the King Palace. We met one of his officer who, after many tries, told us it was not possible to meet the kind, but we would be able to "see" him, at least, the next morning.
Umhlanga, or Reed Dance ceremony, is an annual Swazi and Zulu event. In Swaziland, tens of thousands of unmarried and childless Swazi girls and women travel from the various chiefdoms to the Ludzidzini Royal Village to participate in the eight-day event. The young, unmarried girls were placed in female age-regiments; girls who had fallen pregnant outside wedlock had their families fined a cow.
We were there, South of Swaziland and we maneged, after hours of débats and negociations, to reach the "VIP" area. We were very close to the king. And at one moment, probably cause we were white surrounding by all officials swalidandese people, the king looked at us. We smiled. He smiled back. We waved. He waved back. And we ask, with a gesture, if could take some photo with him. Silence. He then talked to his vallet who came to us and ask "would you like to meet the king ?"
YEEEAH
Here we were, standing in front a king, the red carpet were sttled just for us, facing thousand of naked Virgin girls.
It was one of the best expériences in my all life.
"They didn't know it was impossible. So they made it"
