I love traveling and think that the only way to get an inside look on a place you visit is to get it from someone who knows the area better than you. I also think that meeting people different from myself and from different areas is so valuable!

I love a wide array of music so it’s difficult to pinpoint one genre or artist. Some of my favorites though are Bon Iver, Hozier, Trevor Hall, Jack Johnson, Ed Sheeran, The Paper Kites and Angus and Julia Stone.

I LOVE documentaries and any movie that makes you think or offers a new perspective on any subject. Honestly I probably watch more tv shoes than movies though and absolutely love House, Friends, HIMYM, the Office and Parks and Recreation.

Reading is one of my favorite things to do and so I’m always looking for book recommendations. The kite runner is probably one of my favorites, but it’s hard to choose cause I love so many books all for different reasons. My favorite genre is historical fiction.

I’ve trekked in Nepal and saw the Himalayas (while having food poisoning!) Honestly one of my favorite experiences despite the the slight bump in the road caused by being so sick.

I would love to practice my French with anyone who is learning or who speaks French. It’s not a skill which gets used much in the United States so I always look forward to any opportunity to practice. I also love cooking and baking and will gladly make you cookies! I also love yoga and would love to practice with anyone who wants to.
