Overview
About Me
A recent graduate ready to embark on the "real world," I'm polite, organized, and laid back. I like to keep active and exploring whether in my own backyard or in someone else's.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking for places to stay and people to engage with while I'm not in my own zip code, and I hope to return the favor for others soon.
Interests
As a soon-to-be accountant, I try my best to avoid falling prey to the stereotype that all accountants are stiff and boring. I used to do track and field at Arizona State, and with those days behind me I like to keep as active as possible. I love sports and fitness and am up for just about anything, except for long-distance swimming; I don't have that kind of endurance.
During college, I consulted with local business owners and developed and facilitated business model development courses for a student-run not-for-profit organization. Through that I have developed a strong passion for small business and entrepreneurship, from tech startups to small ice cream parlors and farmers markets.
I can often be found engaging in conversation over a cup of coffee, a plate of food, a glass of beer, a bottle of water -- whatever your preference, it doesn't matter. The topic doesn't matter much either: sports, movies, social issues, religion, business, I'm not too picky. Few things in life are as fulfilling as a conversation.
I also like reading, whether fiction, non-fiction, long-form articles, blog posts, or listicles, and I write for a film website just for the heck of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a week in Belize teaching 12- to 18-year-olds about entrepreneurship and financial literacy, which was cool, but more importantly I played a lot of soccer and basketball with the kids.
