I am an easy going, super-disciplined guy from New York. I’ve been working full time as a Chef in Providence and on the side I’ve been hosting a secret ‘speakeasy’ style pop up restaurant in my own home where I host a six course tasting menu that allows me to experiment with new kinds of menus and flavors. Besides work, I am a relatively laid back kind of guy, I prefer cooking a meal with friends, good conversations over drinks and visiting museums to going out to ‘party’ or hanging out at clubs all night.

For two years, I worked at a tiny but incredibly lively and beloved Spanish tapas bar. I fell in love with Spanish culture through my experience with the ingredients and the preparation of Spanish food. It's been a dream to travel to Spain really get to actually get to know this place that I have been so inspired by. I have traveled and explored much of the USA's east coast, but this will be my first experience traveling in Europe. I plan to arrive in Barcelona and make my way around the country; spending time in San Sebastian, Madrid and Sevilla.

I am very interested in couch surfing for the unique experience of getting to know a city through a local’s eyes. I have heard so many stories and I have devoted myself perfecting all the traditional Spanish recipes but I am ready to properly acquaint myself with the place and culture.

I have an appreciation for a wide range of music: rap, hiphop, rock, r&B, soul,jazz, alternative, Latin american to name a few. I’d be very interested to hear the local music. As far books, I have to be honest, I’ve only been reading cookbooks for a while now—but i’d love a good recommendation

I went white water rafting with my family in Pennsylvania a few years back. It was an incredible experience, as well as dangerous! lol
