My name is Jordan and it's been a life long dream of mine to travel the world and experience all the diversity and culture this big blue marble of ours has to offer. When I'm not travelling, I keep busy by writing fiction, skateboarding, playing guitar and coordinating educational specialty programs for children of all ages.

I absolutely love experiencing new cultures and meeting new people everywhere I go. I have traveled across Canada and the United states, backpacked Europe, lived in Brazil with a local family, and now I'm working in Australia.

I am always up for absolutely anything and everything, from visiting museums all day long, to reading in an ancient library to paragliding off a mountaintop or kayaking through white water rapids. Nothing is out of my comfort zone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting local people and experiencing new cultures and seeing a country/city from a local perspective is the most important aspect of travelling. Sight seeing is all well and good, but the true experiences, the REAL stories come from the people who live and breath that part of the world every singe day. I'm on couch surfing to meet local people and to hopefully share our perspectives with one another and create life long friends and memories.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to write, play sports, have adventures and explore. I can teach you how to write in English with proficiency and clarity, how to ride a skateboard, snowboard or wakeboard, how to play hockey (I am Canadian after all), how to draw sketch and draw ( I've work with professional graphic designers every year), and how to play guitar and piano.

I'm also up for learning absolutely anything someone is willing to teach me. I will never say no to honing a new skill or developing a deeper understanding of something I already know. If you love to teach, I am ready to learn.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I understand that being hosted is an absolute privilege and I am more than willing to return the favour in any way I can, whether it's providing food and beer for our nights out, or helping around the house or with a task, to hosting you back here in Ottawa, Canada. Anything I can do to make the experience mutual beneficial, I am happy to do so.
