About Me

My name is Jordan and I'm Australian but have been living in Spain for the majority of the last three and a half years.

Travelling is a passion of mine and I've been lucky enough to visit many countries around the world and look forward to exploring many more.

I am a qualified high school teacher and a student of Spanish so I know the learning process very well!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet interesting people worldwide and share stories over a few beers.

I love to travel, listen to live music, try to keep fit and learning Spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all types of music, particularly live rock. I'm not a big movie buff but don't mind some thriller, action and comedy films. My favourite books are definitely from the murder mystery genre.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling via land between India to Bangladesh is the first thing that come to mind. It's a bit complicated to explain here but definitely a story I'll remember forever.

Teach, Learn, Share

As I high school teacher, my key teaching areas are English and Media Studies with a bit of Social Education thrown in occasionally. By now I might be able to teach the very basics of Spanish too! I can also share a lot of cultural information (particularly about dangerous animals) from my country.

I'm always keen to learn anything about different cultures such as ways of life, beliefs and without doubt the food.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't mind cooking occasionally and if the host has access to kangaroo mince, my specialty is kangaroo nachos!

I'm always eager to share a conversation over a beer or two (not Fosters!) with new people, including those who would host me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, England, Fiji, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Jordan, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand, Portugal, Scotland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, United States, Vanuatu
