About Me

I'm a Irish guy in my mid 20's who's been living in North America since I graduated college in 2016.

I've got big plans for travel in the next few years with the next trip being Mexico and some of Central and South America for 3 months in January '19.

I'm really passionate about exercise and nutrition in day to day life but being stereotypically Irish I'm always open to a bit of fun or ' craic ' as we call it.

Looking forward to hosting and being hosted over the next few years, learning and experiencing as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope to use it to gain insight into different cultures while travelling, experiencing and learning as much as I can.

Interests

I Love Reading and am always looking for recommendations, fiction or not.

Listening to music, almost anything as long as it's good!

A host of different different activities and playing/watching sports (especially soccer & mma) in my down time.

Big BJJ fan!

Currently learning Spanish (slowly but surely), and would love help with that!

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite books are Stephen King's The Stand and The Dark Tower series. Vagabonding by Rolf Potts. Tim Ferris's Tools for Titans. Sebastian Junger's Tribe...... Love fiction and anything inspiring or educational.

Movie film and TV and grew up watching everything from Disney to Alfred Hitchcock. Would love to discover some alternatives to the American and English classics I grew up with!

Music is a huge part of my life. Listen every day without fail to a huge range of genres and artists depending on my mood. Favourite gig most recently was Bon Iver's live show in Vancouver. Electronic music or Jazz has always been my go to for a night out

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent the last 3 years living in Chicago, NYC & Vancouver

Teach, Learn, Share

Not got a whole lot of entirely transferable skills but any aspiring restaurateurs I'd be more than happy to show you how to carry 3 plates some tricks in the kitchen!

Always up for learning new life skills if they're on offer.

Food and drink is a huge passion and always eager to learn more and share what I know!
