À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
See and experience as much of the world as I can before I'm too old and have responsibilities. Say yes to as much as i possibly can. Only have one shot at life so i want to spend it doing awesome things with amazing people from all over the world.
ABOUT ME
I grew up as second of 5 kids in a small town called Upwey, about an hour east of Melbourne at the bottom of Mt Dandenong where everything is surrounded by trees. I never really had much interest in travelling until i went on my first University exchange to Malaysia. With classes only 1 day a week, I spent the semester avoiding study and using as much time as possible to visit different parts of South East Asia. Since then I have been lucky enough to complete a second exchange to the USA, drive from London to Mongolia in 50 days in the 2015 Mongol Rally, and recently introduce my youngest brother to backpacking on a trip to China. I have also visited Central and South America, worked as a bartender for a month at an Oktoberfest campsite in Munich, and slept in a cave house in Iran.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people, learning from them and teaching where i can. My favorite memories in my travelling have always been with locals, who introduce you to experiences that you never would have found otherwise. Couchsurfing is a great way to meet people and get the most authentic experience in the place you are travelling in.
Centres d'intérêt
Traveling, sports (AFL), foods ive never eaten before, live music and festivals, playing guitar, scuba diving, surfing, meeting new people, just about anything

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Ill introduce you to a lot of amazing Australian bands that don't seem to make it overseas
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
In 2015 i drove a very small and impractical car 18000km from London to Mongolia. We crossed Europe, through Turkey into Georgia and Armenia, through Iran (by far my favorite country visited), up through 'Stans into Siberia, before a week getting destroyed by 1500km of Mongolian "roads". It was the most challenging thing i have ever done, but i still often find myself laughing just thinking about the ridiculousness of the situations we were in.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I have spent my whole life in Melbourne, and can show you around the city, the Dandenong Ranges where I grew up, and hopefully take you surfing down at Phillip Island. I love Australian music and sport (AFL and Cricket), and going to see them live.
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
I'm lucky enough to have a large and very welcoming group of friends (some who we met originally through couch surfing and have since moved to Melbourne), who would love to meet visitors and show them around our city. I have a comfortable couch, live 100m from St Kilda beach, close to public transport and over the road from a park with sporting facilities. I will also share my love of the Western Bulldogs, the AFL team i support
