Overview
About Me
Hi there! My name's Jordan Harris and I'm originally from Pittsburgh, PA but I’ve lived in Austin, TX for the last year. I'm a dancer, choreographer and performance artist and I love any visual arts as well. I love taking in local entertainment scenes and finding things that are unique to the places I visit.
I obviously love to travel and I became acquainted with Couchsurfing initially while I was living in Brazil where I first began teaching English as a Second Language. I'm fluent in Portuguese, know some Spanish and I love linguistics and have even continued working on and off as an ESL teacher here in the States. I highly value communication and the exchange of others’ perspectives and differences is one of my favorite things about this app.
As far as my lifestyle, I'm a very easy and outgoing person; I enjoy others' company but am very much independent and value personal time as well. I'm ambitious and I'm constantly on a search for more knowledge. I'm very neat as I believe my environment is a reflection of your mind. I love to cook and exchange energy, art and experiences with those around me!

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite music is hard to pinpoint as I listen to a little bit of everything, but I'm definitely rhythm driven; anything I can dance to is cool.
I'm not much of a movie buff cause I usually can't sit still for 2 hours straight (haha) but I do love Tarantino and Pulp Fiction is probably my favorite of all time.
My favorite book has to be "The Alchemist" by Brazilian author Paulo Coelho.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve been on 2 of the top 3 tallest roller coasters in the world!
