Overview
About Me
I like to go explore and adventure into the unknown. Over the last 3.5 years, I've lived nomadically. I've taught English in Argentina for 6 months, lived in Australia for 8 months, backpacked Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Brazil for 5 months, backpacked Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam for 3 months (this year) and now I live in New Orleans. Wherever the flow is going is where I am. I like to discuss all matters of life and culture and am sure to share a few laughs and good stories as well. I'm always up for any adventure whether it be a live music venue, beers at a pub, a hike, an art gallery, a political discussion, a stand-up show, or whatever. Life is an adventure.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Seeing the best in people is what keeps me traveling. The hospitality, kindness, and the trust shared in the traveling community is a beautiful thing that gives me hope. In my nomadic moving, I've hitchhiked, couchsurfed, given and received random acts of kindness, and each person in these circumstances feels like an old friend rather than a stranger. I love the cultural exchange and sharing of perspectives that comes with meeting new people. There’s a certain, more intimate experience with a new place when you stay with a local. I like to give all the things above when someone visits my city so that I may receive the same when I’m visiting theirs.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all music but find myself especially attracted to lyrical hip hop, alternative/indie rock, folk/Americana, 70s era and whatever fits my mood. Anything with good vibes.
Life of Pi, Lion King, Cloud Atlas.. give me films with thought provoking plots and great dialogue and I’m a happy man.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I co-founded a business that became successful. I skipped a flight home out of faith and backpacked another 5 months. I was once voted “most likely to trip during graduation” and subsequently tripped at graduation.
Teach, Learn, Share
By sharing our similar or different perspectives, we both teach and learn at the same time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Laughter, stories, beer or food, and the ability to juggle.
Usually, I'll send a postcard from somewhere I visit afterward and I always do the dishes
