Hey surfer! I'm a graduate student at the University of Utah studying bird ecology and conservation. I am a flatlander converted to southwesterner, but some of my favorite things still come from the Midwest, like beer, cheese and heavy comfort foods. I consider myself a quirky, liberal mix of city-meets-nature, with an outgoing personality and spirit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My research takes me on a lot of international trips, so being involved with couch surfing is a great way for me to find and offer a place to stay.

Interests

As a biologist, I like most things having to do with nature and I am usually up for just about anything! My favorite activities stateside include hiking, backpacking, climbing and bird watching. I'm also into crafting, drinking, drinking while crafting, crafting drinks, and other things. I probably like the hobbies that you like.
