我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In 2016 while visiting Peru, I was staying with some locals in the rural village I was volunteering in; we woke up early in the morning to hike to the top of the sacred valley. It was the most strenuous hike of my life, yet the most rewarding. We arrived at the top just in time for the sun to peek over mountains and kiss the base of the valley. Also at the top, were some Inca ruins which I explored and while wandering around, I felt like I was the first person in hundreds of years to see the since I was the only person walking through these ruins.

That moment was the first time in my life that I had felt like time had just ceased to exist and nothing else mattered except for that moment right there.
