About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My goal for now and for the rest of my life is to keep learning about myself and the world around me!
ABOUT ME
"I am everyone and everyone is me."
I strive to do only exactly what I want to do- I don't plan on settling for much in life. I do my best to say what I feel and express myself as clearly as possible.
I love to travel and explore the earth in as many ways possible, and I'm always looking for new restaurants, new trails, new hangout spots. I love love love the earth and have a deep respect for her systems and cycles.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a devout feminist and disestablishmentarian. I believe that people cause the biggest problems in their own lives by trying too hard not to be humans. I think if everyone just loosened up a little and acknowledged they were animals, we'd all be in much better shape.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Music, Movies, and Books
I used to jam out mostly to classic rock but recently I've been more into progressive metal, math rock, and jazz fusion-type stuff! My favorites are Protest the Hero, Animals as Leaders, Intervals, and Mandroid Echostar :)
I must admit that I don't usually care for TV shows or movies, but I love Star Trek TNG - it's pretty much the only show I watch. My favorite movies are The Big Lebowski, Aladdin, and Princess Mononoke. As far as books go, I love sci-fi and I'm reading the Dune series right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had the opportunity to get up close to some humpback whales in Juneau, Alaska- so my friend and I grabbed a double kayak and chased them down!
In 2014 I won a sweepstakes that allowed my partner and I to travel to Thailand, Laos, the Cook Islands, and New Zealand- our airline tickets were completely paid for!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I make pretty excellent cakes and I'm a line cook- if you want me to teach you how to make a top-notch flourless chocolate cake or a really good quiche, I can do that ;)
I'm also a good listener and I've been told I do a good job of teaching people about affection and happiness (I think the cake helps).
