About Me

Hello Friends!

I grew up in a small town in northern WI. I studied Wildlife Ecology and Botany. I am traveling through South America for the next 4 months and letting my feet tell me where to go! I am a backpacking guide back in the United States and in my spare time I love gardening, camping, hiking, rock climbing, and basically all outdoor activity. I have a love for life and want to see and experience all this amazing planet is willing to share with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on a journey right now to find myself, experience culture from around the world, make new friends, and spread good vibes! I've had such an amazing time couch surfing and I can't wait to meet some amazing new friends along my journey!

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to Folk, Bluegrass, and Reggae. Favorite Artist is Bob Marley. Favorite Band is Horseshoes & Handgrenades (bluegrass band from where I went to college). Movies..... oh where to begin.

There are so many amazing books out there. The best one I’ve read in a long time is The Book of Joy!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Should we be so limited on this question?

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very willing and happy to teach English, any art skills I can share, my plant/animal knowledge, and my adventure backpacking skills!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversations of us contemplating the mysteries as well as the joys of life. Talk of travel and any advice I may be able to share. Some pretty scary ghost stories (I prefer a fire to tell these stories, but will settle for candlelight!) I know my way around a garden and how to cook. If you have plants and you allow me I will likely talk to and take care of them :) I know some pretty cool crafts I'd be willing to teach including macrame, stone wrapping, mandala painting, and more for you to find out :) Hopefully I can bring a little extra peace and joy into your lives and create a friendship.

Countries I’ve Visited
