Hello!

I am 24 and from England but born in Ireland. I have been travelling since February 2016 and I am working my way through Sri Lanka and India currently!

I left to go travelling for one main reason. My Dad travelled for a number of years and has many amazing stories about the places he has been, the people he has met and the incredible lessons about humanity and generosity that he learned. He always told me these stories as I was growing up and I always knew that I wanted this for myself, so after graduating and working for a while I left home with two friends and began my own trip!

Since then I have travelled through America, Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Australia, Bali and now Sri Lanka and India before heading to Canada in January 2018.

I am not hosting people currently but if you are travelling through India then I am happy to travel together, and when I am in Canada I will be happy to host people properly.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people and to listen to their experiences whilst listening to their expertise that they have about their country and home.

To meet locals and to learn their culture, food and practices so I can better understand a country or place.

To share my couch and help other travellers along the way and give them a fond experience of their time wherever I am.

I listen to a lot of music but I enjoy a lot from the 60's and onwards. If you enjoy music then I am happy to listen to what you've got! I really enjoy live music so if you know a venue I would like to check it out.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really enjoy to cook with people and to sit down together and eat. I'm no pro but I can show you some recipes and learn some of yours too. I especially enjoy tasting new food and experimenting. I am a vegan but certainly don't mind talking non-vegan food with people!

I am an enthusiastic photographer and can always learn some more skills. I have a Canon 60d with 2 lenses. I have been taking photos for 2 years whilst I have been travelling and I always enjoy looking at other people's pictures and how they took the photo.

One of the many great benefits of meeting travellers is to talk and share experiences. If you have tips about a place then I am all ears.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very sociable person who enjoys being around people in whatever capacity. Whether that's seeing a new place, drinking a beer, enjoying a meal or sat talking around a table.

I am always happy to share what I have and pay for a meal or a drink in exchange for couch surfing as I understand it takes time to accommodate someone so it's the least I can do.
