Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard a lot of good things about couch surfing and many of my friends have used it. I think couchsurfing can be better than a hostel as you get to meet locals rather than fellow travellers (which is not a bad thing). I want to meet as many amazing people as I can in the short time i have in each city.

Movies: anything Tarantino and have a weird thing for Nicolas cage movies (but don't hold that against me)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've not yet done it but in April '17 I will be starting my thru hike of the Pacific Crest Trail which is a 2650 mile hike from Mexico to Canada.
