My name is Jordan Mikes, but you can call me Michael Jordan if that's easier for you to remember. I recently escaped the corporate world and moved on to become a freelance life insurance agent in Florida and Indiana and I couldn't be happier. I'm a huge sports fan but I can carry on a conversation with just about anything. I hope to someday travel the world, but for now I'll settle with traveling between these states while making some $$$ and meeting some interesting people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My business takes me anywhere and everywhere along those state lines and because of my frequent travel, my expenses can get pretty high. Since I'm just getting my feet wet in this new industry, I'm hoping that I can meet some awesome people along the way who wouldn't mind hosting me while I'm in town.

As far as myself hosting goes, I finally bought my house and I'd love to share it with this community that has already done so much for me! I have an empty guest room with a bed (see pic) and a tiki bar... because it's always 5 o clock somewhere!!!

Any music from the 90s is pure gold to me-- you name it: rap, rock, pop, alternative- I dig them all
Music nowadays is mostly crap, but I can still tolerate some rap and rock

Too many movies to name, but my favorite genres are inspirational, comedy, and action

I mainly just read inspirational books like 'See you at the Top' and 'Secrets of the Millionaire Mind'

Snuck into Dexter Morgan's Miami condo, breaking a few rules along the way... Don't believe me? The proof is in the picture!

Also explored a deserted lava tube in Hawaii with my amazing mom on Halloween while you were probably trick or treating... Doesn't get much spookier than that!
