I am an Australian student who has decided to take a gap-year before I start studying engineering to travel the world, meet new people and do new things.

As a way to meet new people and get the local perspective on the places I visit.

Interests

I have a great interest in the sciences, especially physics and engineering, and will be studying mechatronic (robotic) engineering at University.
I enjoy making and fixing things, everything from basic robots to furniture.
I also have an interest in film making, particularly the editing and direction of film and have directed two student short films, both of which won awards in a local film festival.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is pretty eclectic. I enjoy most movies and TV shows, especially sci-fi, comedy and action/thriller movies. I don't read as much anymore but tend to enjoy sci-fi and mystery novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to Cambodia and worked in a local community and school for a week.
