Overview
About Me
I enjoy teaching very much. I'm an English teacher, but I really enjoy science and astronomy! I enjoy teaching people of any age about any topic that I know. In my free time I usually ride my bicycle around Seoul or other parts of Korea. If I have more free time, then I like to meet my friends to chat, go to museums, exercise, read, explore, or just browse the internet trying to learn new things. I am very diverse. I have many interests, and I'm very curious, so I think I can have a conversation easily with most people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting people from different parts of the world so we can share stories about life, culture, food, etc. That's one reason why I moved to Korea to work. When traveling, I think staying at someone's home is far better than staying in a hotel. The experience is more personal and you can learn some cool things, hear amazing stories, and try delicious home made meals!

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy trance/dance, classical, pop, and jazz music. I enjoy science fiction, comedy, and historical movies. I like books on philosophy, science fiction, history, and self improvement. Some of my favourite movies are Interstellar, The Shawshank Redemption, Harry Potter, and Dumb and Dumber.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've ridden in a bicycle race through Korea with Tour de France champion Chris Froome!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English. I can teach you about space. I can teach you about cycling! I can teach you some history or philosophy. I can teach you how to whistle.
I'd love to improve my French, Italian, and Korean. I don't get enough chances to practice speaking those languages. Yes, I live in Korea, but we have to speak English at work, so I speak English far more often than Korean. Finally, I'd just like to learn everything! I'm very open about learning.
My favourite thing to share is stories/memories about life. Life at work, life in your city, life in your country. Happy things, sad things, things that make you angry. I'm very honest, so I don't mind sharing emotional things like that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
One room apartment with small kitchen, private shower, and two extra beds (air mattresses). I can give a tour of Incheon or Seoul on the weekends. Or I can just suggest some good places to go and let guests explore solo.
