Overview
About Me
Because I spend most of my time working in a big city I like to spend my weekends getting out of the city and into nature as much as possible. In the summer I like to do a lot of biking, hiking, and camping. In the winter I like to do a lot of skiing.
I love to travel to new places, I'm making it a personal goal to try to visit one new country per year.
I enjoy meeting new people and experiencing new cultures and foods :) though it is worth mentioning I am a vegetarian. I wish I was strong enough to be vegan, but I am only a weak human and cannot turn down good cheese or ice cream.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet fun, friendly and openminded people from all over the world and learn about their cultures. Also to meet different people than I might usually hang out with to understand new perspectives.
I think staying with a “local” can be the best way to learn about and experience a new place (or even somewhere you’ve been before).
