About Me
My days are fulfilled being active outside and melting glass in the studio. I am energetic and easy going. I enjoy talking story for hours and also quietly reading a book. In my downtime I make new friends and take long walks.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been on the road since November 2018 and hope to continue to travel to collaborate with other artists from all over the world. So far I have enjoyed many places including Cleveland, Northern California, and currently Hawaii. Next up is making my way from Florida to Montreal Canada.

Music, Movies, and Books
One book I am currently reading is "The Moral Molecule" and it is furthering my understanding of the role of oxytocin in generosity between strangers.
One of my favorite recent reads is "The Stranger in the Woods: The Extraordinary Story of the Last True Hermit" because it was a short true story that detailed the death defying experience of a young man who yearned for a simpler lifestyle away from society. The main character, Christopher Knight, defied the odds of surviving the coldest winters in Maine for 27 years. The simplicity of the story allowed me to reconsider my perception of loneliness vs solitude and had considerable impact on my travels throughout New England.
Teach, Learn, Share
Have you ever wondered about the history or manipulation of glass? Hot glass and warm honey share similar properties of flow. If you're interested, I can talk about glass endlessly.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy sharing meals, cooking, and cleaning. I almost always have some of my own glass creations with me.
