ABOUT ME
I work hard and play hard.
I'm usually up late and up early. I love trying new things, meeting new people, eating new food, and trying something new and challenging.
I have a beautiful wife, a daughter, and one on the way (today is 4/11/12, in case I don't update this later!).
I served a 2 year religious (LDS) mission in Northern Brasil.
My wife is an engineer and I'm workin on a couple businesses.
Interests
I think it hurts less to try and fail than the anguish of knowing you didn't attempt it at all.
I love spontaneity and trying new things.
I love skiing, longboarding (skateboarding), climbing, wakeboarding, hiking, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first one that comes to mind was a day I was hiking in the backcountry with one of my friends. We were on the top of a ridge with our skis on our shoulders heading over to an untouched chute. We could see for miles and it was just amazing how beautiful it was, and it was pretty much in my backyard. The 3 feet of fresh pow kinda helped too!
Another one that came to mind was recently in New Zealand. It was on the coast, just east of Auckland. The beach was called Piha. I didn't have a swim suit so I just went in with the shorts that I had on. The beach was amazing... not easily put into words, just perfect.
Oh, one more... this was a whole trip though... for one of our anniversaries, my wife and I went camping in Jackson Hole, WY. It was awesome, we just hiked, white water rafting.. (oh that was freezing, it snowed on us while we were fighting the rapids), and played games in our tent... Good times!
