ABOUT ME
My friends would probably say that I am a little bit crazy...but in a good way. After graduating from Cornell University, I took a job doing environmental restoration with a crew of high risk youth in the back country of Nevada. Every week is a challenging experience in terms of the manual labor and social dynamics of the group, but I couldn't ask for anything better. Returning home to Tahoe on the weekends is a vacation from the work, and returning to work is like a vacation from Tahoe.
I am a pretty relaxed person who tends to go with the energy flow of the people around me. My friends know that I am always down to try new things, but I also need the balance of downtime to recharge.
Interests
I played volleyball at Cornell and both the indoor and outdoor game hold a very special place in my heart. Although I am thankful for my collegiate volleyball experience, finishing my career allowed me the time to pursue other hobbies and interests (and I look for new ones everyday!). Some of the things I have attempted and really enjoyed are rock climbing, disk golf, hula hooping, backpacking, hiking, kayaking, and wake boarding.
I enjoy trying new things, especially things that scare me or I might look really silly doing. Most importantly is doing things with people whose company I enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Finally becoming really good friends with someone who I had known for a long time.
2. Seeing the cloud forest and waterfalls in Costa Rica.
