Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I intend to connect with all sorts of people in my travels to come.

Interests

My biggest interest is problem solving - just solving things in general; all of my other interests stem from that. I love playing and creating music and working with different pieces as well as other musicians. Jamming and improv are my favorite. I like to fix things around the house or just make them work better. I enjoy cooking, but I hate grocery shopping. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I dig music from all genres as long as it's dynamic and interesting. Mastodon and The Avett Brothers are probably my favorites. I also love musical theater; Book of Mormon and RENT are my muse.

Movies often feel like too much of an investment, but I really enjoy comedy. The Other Guys is timeless to me.

I'm not a big reader outside of school, so I am mostly reading political theory stuff. Machiavelli stands out for me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove from Louisiana to Alaska and (almost) back on 6 week road trip with some of my best friends.

I have tried so many things, and I am willing to try just as many new things and more! I play several musical instruments which I love teaching other people about, and I could never know my way around too many.
