ABOUT ME

I'm a 27 year old Graphic Designer who loves getting in Adventures. I'm friendly, outgoing and always up for something new.

Currently I'm volunteering at a workshare house in Melbourne where I am helping to design a book that teaches kids how to look after their mental health. It's pretty awesome and I'm living in a huge house with like 9 other people! Basically using Couchsurfing at the moment to meet up and hang out with cool people!

Interests

It goes without saying that I love to Travel. I've travelled and worked all around Europe and Australia and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. Canada, Asia and America are all in the pipeline.
I've kind of become obsessed recently with trying to make my body work to the best of it's ability. I've been going to the gym on and off for quite a while but now I'm trying to focus on all sorts of healthy eating and brain exercises. I really want to get into yoga and meditation more as I feel like they have real benefits. Just trying to keep it all going while travelling is difficult!
I recently began properly freelancing as a designer and this has allowed me the freedom to travel and earn money at the same time! I love it. If you need any design work doing while I stay at your place, I will happily do that as a way of saying thankyou!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Jake Bugg, Bruce Springsteen, Bee Gees. All in all I have an assortment of music I love, I literally like anything. If I'm on a night out I love trance music but in reality I love pretty much anything you can sing or dance to. I have a particular soft spot for the 80's.

Movies:
Always a difficult one, but a few of my favourites from the top of my head are:
The Edge of Tomorrow, Guardians of the Galaxy, Fight Club, Superbad, Blade Runner, Walk Hard the Story of Dewey Cox & Stepbrothers.

Books:
I don't really read too much but a couple of my most recent favourite books were the Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and Total Recall the Autobiography of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Also recently getting into the Subtle Art of Not Giving a F**K by Mark Manson, it's pretty good!

PODCASTS
Now Podcasts are my thing and you'll always find me with a pair of earphones in! Some of my favourites are The Joe Rogan Experience, Tangientally Speaking and The Church of What's Happening Now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked the Camino De Santiago ( an 890km walk across France and Spain) with my Two friends Josh and Jake and raised over £3000 for two charities, The Woodland Trust and The Alzheimers Society.

Teach, Learn, Share

My Graphic Design skills have definitely gone up recently and I'd say I'm pretty good in all areas of design. I've already been giving friends lessons on how to use a variety of programs so if you're keen to learn, I'll be happy to teach.
I'm looking to learn all aspects on how to live life a bit better. Cooking has always been my key weakness, even though I've started enjoying it more now. My aim is to be able to cook without the need of following a recipe and just be able to make up a real good meal in my head.
