open-minded, easy going, adventure seeker looking to always be learning and experiencing everything life has to offer. I have a degree in Earth Science and Geology, I LOVE rocks and the outdoors. I have attended and worked at summer camp for many many summers and it has given me a love for camping, hiking, boating, canoeing, plants, animals, swimming and making friends. I am in between an undergrad and graduate school right now looking to travel and get something out of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I travel I feel meeting local people would be the most awesome way to learn about and truly experience a place. Plus meeting awesome people from around the world who would want to come hangout with me sounds super amazing.

I love love love rock climbing / bouldering, swimming, camping, hiking, sailing, canoeing, and anything outside! I love to cook, drink wine, read, and listen to great stories and music. I'm up for anything and am looking to learn about the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I actually love all music, most film and any books with adventure, history, or cool facts. I am a serious fan of most folk or indie-ish music. My favourites include Fleet Foxes, Fist Aid Kit, The Shins, Blitzen Trapper, Neil Young, Bob Dylan.
I love any and all Disney, Disney Pixar or Dreamworks movies plus Harry Potter, LOTR, etc, etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught rock climbing, canoeing, sailing, knot tying, cooking and general health and well being for a number of years which I would be so so happy to share with people. I would love to learn more about these things as well as anything to do with the natural world. I will rant about geology to you for hours if you want.
