ABOUT ME
I am a graphic design student with a love for visual culture. I enjoy keeping busy and always seeking out new things. Back home, I love art gallery walks, antique shops and thrift stores, and learning. I work for a small accessory line in Portland and am always looking for new ways to create and create with others.
PHILOSOPHY
The Golden Rule: Treat others the way you'd like to be treated.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've heard many good stories from friends and acquaintances who are CSers and had met wonderful people while traveling and maintaining those friendships beyond their stays. I'd really love to begin to participate and experience the world through authentic interactions with people from everywhere.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not had many experiences couch surfing, nor too much traveling. But I really want to stretch myself with traveling opportunities—to meet welcoming people around the world and enjoy a culturally authentic experience while I'm abroad.
Interests
Graphic design, art, visual culture in general, going to concerts, technology.

Music, Movies, and Books
Mean Girls!
Vampire Weekend, The Drums, St. Vincent, Animal Collective, Talking Heads, The Smiths, M.I.A., Solange, The Postal Service, Phoenix, and anything that sounds like 80s pop music.
I have not been reading as much as I've liked to lately, but Aldous Huxley's Brave New World has been a tried and true favorite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had my first solo art exhibition recently, which has lead to a few more group shows I was able to participate in. I have been really humbled to be granted to opportunities to share my art work with a lot of people and see how people respond and interact with it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I design pretty great greeting cards, which means a pretty great post card! I'd love to create a leave-behind as a memento of meeting. If you have technology-questions, I'm usually pretty helpful with those as well. But I'd really just like to learn about people and what they're up to and how they share it.
