Overview
About Me
I'm a little sarcastic, but all in good humor (usually ;-)). I love being goofy and spending time with people who appreciate themselves and life but don't take themselves too seriously. Knowing good people and having unforgettable experiences is what makes me feel rich as a queen-- not money! I strive to be open, amusing, loving, adventurous and generous.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Excellent motto for life and for couch surfing!
"You will never be completely at home again, because part of your heart will always be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place." - Miriam Adeney
One of my best friends who happened to become my roommate and faithful travel buddy while living in France introduced me to this quote and I've held it close to my heart ever since.
Interests
Being outdoors-- camping, hiking, backpacking, etc. Travelling about. Drinking good wine, beer and coffee. Baking from time to time. The art of hand-written letters. Spending time getting to know people, different points of view, and having conversations about how this crazy world works (and sometimes doesn't work).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moved my life to France. Spent time traveling, but also became a local of sorts in my little French town. Couldn't have asked for a more amazing year. La France me manque.
