About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to meet fun and interesting people, make new friends, learn a few things and of course help out travelers who need a place to stay!
ABOUT ME
I love life. I love traveling, music, food, exercise, and trying to learn new languages. I also like to read and, of course, spend lots of time with my friends.
I have a master's degree in music, and I play the classical guitar. I love to play with other musicians of any skill level and style!
PHILOSOPHY
I live for the strains of a classical string.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a huge classical music lover (and, incidentally, performer). I also enjoy bebop and jazz fusion (such as ~1970 Miles) and really like The Bad Plus. Popular music is not my thing, but I do like some of it and appreciate the reasons that other people get so excited about it, and of course I like to rock out - just a little, of course, :) - from time to time.
As far as books go, I love a pretty diverse range. I've read tons of nonfiction, and I'm also very slowly working my way through some foreign language novels. I also love poetry.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saw Barack Obama give his acceptance speech in Grant Park when he was elected President of the United States.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I'm pretty well-qualified to teach a little bit about music, and I'm always happy to share what I know and hear what others have to say about my favorite subject in the world!
