About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make the world a better place through a larger sense of community and helping of others, while expanding my world views and personal philosophies. Bike from Morocco to Turkey.
ABOUT ME
I am a glass blower and a building systems energy researcher. I'm vegetarian and a pretty mellow guy. I like hanging out with friends and enjoying nature, hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, kayaking, snowboarding etc. I enjoy games like chess and poker. Always down for philosophy discussions. I try to be involved with the community and live in and social/political justice.
PHILOSOPHY
Enjoy life as much as possible while contributing to the world in a productive and peaceful manner.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted many couch surfers at my co-op in Boulder Colorado. (Chrysalis Community CO OP) . I also occasionally attended gatherings and have surfed on the east coast of the US, in Europe and in Turkey. I always try to couch surf when I travel because you really get an opportunity to learn about a city and make new friends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I still haven't had a bad couchsurfing experience. At chrysalis we have hosted dozens of couch surfers and it is always super fun. I love meeting new people and learning about the cities they live in.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am not super into television or movies but I do enjoy the occasional movie if it is interesting. Some of my favorites are fight club, Amelie, short bus and I really like documentaries.
As for music, I absolutely love music. Growing up I listened to a lot of ska, punk, hardcore, and reggae music. In the past 5 years my tastes in music have really broadened and I listen to a lot of electronic music, hip hop and indie music but I am open to just about anything. I really like Aesop rock, Shpongle, Why?, sage francais, death cab, Andrew Bird and too many to list.
Books:
toa te ching, Chuck Palahniuk books, Still Life with Woodpecker, 1984, Direct Action, anything that offers a new and interesting philosophy or makes me grow as a person. Any suggestions?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rafted through the Grandcanyon, biked over 4000 miles from Morocco to Turkey, hitchhiked from New York to Colorado, ran a half marathon(personal goal), met with a shaman in the Amazon jungle, went paragliding in Colombia, made 5 gallons of wine out of welchs grape juice(pretty amazing, right?), traveled a bunch. Too many things to put, I have met so many amazing people and seen so many beautiful and interesting places. I am very grateful for all of my experiences, the world is a pretty amazing place!visited 30 states (13.3%)Create your own visited map of The World or website vertaling duits?
